NOS NIB: Set of four Mid-century colored anodized aluminum Coaster-Ash Tray combo, by J. Sands Company Minneapolis MN in original box. Very hard to find combination set that includes an ash tray and a coaster in one! Made with the popular anodized aluminum of the time, in pretty pastel colors that include a soft pink, yellow, green and blue. With coasters of gold. Very light weight yet durable. Set has NEVER been used! In excellent condition and comes in its original box, also in great condition. Each coaster measures 5 in across at the bottom (ash tray) and the coaster measures 3 in across. Your drink goes on top and ashes on the bottom! I can see this set originally being a wedding present for the 60's couple! They just never used them and kept them safe and sound in their box. This would make a very unique gift for the coaster or the ash tray.
 
All Vintage items possess a certain amount of wear and tear that comes with age. I consider that part of their charm, I hope you do too.
